WEXAL\u00ae Page Speed Technology (hereinafter referred to as \"PST\") Manager has three modes for increasing the display speed of web pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Smart-mode
2. Expert-mode
3. Developer-mode<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Smart-mode<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Based on the settings for \"Resource Optimization\", \"Remove Optimized Resources\", and \"Optimization Strategies\", Strategic AI \"David\" will automatically generate and execute strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \"Resource Optimization\" settings allow you to change the types and paths of resources you want to exclude from resource optimization, as well as the compression level of images. The \"Remove Optimized Resources\" setting allows you to delete optimized resources by specifying the time period and\/or the resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Smart-mode, 4 types of directives can be configured: lazy load, proxy, webfont, and engagement delay. Note, only exclusions can be set in the advanced settings for engagement delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Expert-mode<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Based on the settings for \"Resource Optimization\", \"Remove Optimized Resources\", and \"Optimization Strategies\", Strategic AI \"David\" will automatically generate and execute strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Expert-mode, 20 types of directives can be configured: defer external js, lazy load, lazy youtube, lazy video, link dns prefetch, link lcp preload, normalize newlines, proxy, reduce script, repair jquery, secure jquery, repair jquery, and repair jquery. repair jquery, secure target blank, split inline css webfont, tidy, webfont, wp opt genericons, wp remove emoji, wp remove header, wp remove meta, wp shorten url, and wp remove wpcf7. However, application and exclusion can be set in the advanced settings for engagement delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Developer-mode<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When \"Developer-mode\" is selected, functions of Strategic AI \"David\" will be disabled. Select this mode if you want to manually create a PST configuration file. However, you will not be able to change configurations using PST Manager. Refer to the \"Modifying PST Configurations\" for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* If a mode other than \"Developer-mode\" is selected in PST Manager and then you manually update the configuration file, the selected mode and the configuration file might no longer be consistent and PST will automatically go into \"Developer-mode\".<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
